mitch albom, boy can you write...

day 290...

...i have a deep respect for those that write...to allow people to step in to reality and in to your world of imagination is a true gift especially when done well...and then there are those who write ever so effortlessly and teaches us some of life's greatest lessons...one of those people whom i love to read & can re-read over & over is, mitch albom...he had me at 'tuesdays with morrie' and continued on with many of his other inspirational books...

...so what best way to honor someone is to share their words...enjoy & if you haven't yet, i recommend all but if you must choose one, choose 'tuesdays with morrie', it will be a lesson never forgotten...

thank you mr. albom for your stories & for your words...

“Holding anger is a poison...It eats you from inside. We think that by hating someone we hurt them...But hatred is a curved blade and the harm we do to others...we also do to ourselves.”
Mitch Albom, The Five People You Meet in Heaven

“Giving to other people makes me feel alive. Not my car or my house. Not what I look like in the mirror. When I give my time, when I can make someone smile after they were feeling sad...”
― Mitch AlbomTuesdays with Morrie

“If we tend to the things that are important in life, if we are right with those we love, and behave in line with our faith, our lives will not be cursed with the aching throb of unfulfilled business. Our words will always be sincere, our embraces will be tight. We will never wallow in the agony of ‘I could have, I should have’. We can sleep in a storm. And when its time, our goodbyes will be complete.”
― Mitch Albom
