where were you july 2, 2011?

day 184...


i was celebrating these two faces who had just decided to extend their reception for another hour & the crowd goes wild.....

Happy 1st Anniversary...NICK & KATE...this day was so amazing and i feel blessed to be a part of it, so i hope, pray & wish the rest your life is as amazing as that day...what better way to do that then a a little recap...



A look back to this day of bliss...in less than 10 minutes...



....yada, yada...i hired kate, nick hit on her...kate dumped her boyfriend and started dating her boss who happens to be as old as father time...they stick it out, yada yada, some bumps in the road...nick decides to propose in chicago, but fool puts the ring in the same bag kate has put her camera in, so like any romantic comedy kate goes to pull out her camera to take a picture of the skyline and ring falls out...nick says well, & kate says ok (it was probably way more dramatic; however that is how nick told it)...kate is now planning a wedding and going to grad school...colors are chosen, the venue is set, & thankfully kate had class so i got to go the first food tasting...yada yada, invitations were sent out, i purchased an orange dress supposed to fit me perfectly but ohh no my chest is too big, yes, you read correctly...yada yada everything is set we are ready to go....

kate, "here goes nothin..."

did i forgot to mention these two smart ones planned their wedding on 4th if july weekend in downtown columbus without even thinking; however it worked out in their favor, why b/c fireworks + rooftop party for the night before (we don't just do dinner, it is like a small reception) = INGENIOUS...so being super arab kate is naturally wanting to show off her solo dancing talent...i am so proud, she literally does it better than me....yada yada, fireworks...eating, drinking, dancing, & then everyone goes to bed b/c there is a wedding...nope, everyone goes to nick's room and parties...

nick, "im sweating my ass off..."
kate, "seriously nick, smile..."

kate, "dad, do you think i have time to run and pee."

...next morning...yada girls do there things, guys do there & then guess what...here comes the bride....and yada,yada...we do our beautiful ceremony and done....may i now pronounce mr & mrs. nickolas pedro...
they kiss, they hug...and now it is time to party....

wait did i mention the whole state of rhode island is their wedding party...

nick, "everyone smile dammit, so we can go, i am done."

nick "kate, this is the time of my life...& i owe it all to you"

kate (thought), "these people think i am hella crazy if i am leading this for the whole song,
did danielle just step on my dress, i am about to go bridezilla on some people." 

kate leads the dubki line making her man proud, ohh wait where did he go??

that is right nick was waiting for his jam to come on...uhh-ohh do i hear the tootsie roll

nick, "i think i am going to die..."
me, "why the hell did i request this,
i can't move like this anymore..."
nick, "yeah, way to go genius..."

 yada, yada more reception more craziness...yada, yada and it was a night that no one will ever forget, it will forever be on our minds and in our hearts b/c it was TOP NIGHT!

ps nick is not that important that we needed to hire security...
however he did hire joe & daniel to run all safety meetings...

so you two crazy kids, happy happy & many more...

day 183...

(think of this you only have to put up with this sh#t for ONLY 183 days more...)

we have arrived at half way through my year of 30...that is crazy to think about, all though not always the prettiest & easiest to get through i have made it half way...

a recap is in order of the first half...think of it as my version of instant relay...

REMEMBER WHENEVER...i discussed love for a whole month, ohh that was so dreadful...it was as if valentine's had thrown up all over my blog, thank goodness my senses came back to me and by the end of the month i hated everything again...

REMEMBER WHENEVER...i mentioned and gave a shout out to my family, like all 52 of them....guess what they still love me despite my craziness and i still love their faces...(glad we discussed that)...

REMEMBER WHENEVER...i tried to write a captivating romantic love story & stopped...good times...maybe i should finish it (you are thinking right about now, ohh please no;)...

REMEMBER WHENEVER...i posted 50,000 videos on my blog (that was a C.Y.A moment b/c i was tired; which actually ended up not being smart b/c i got sucked into you tube)...

REMEMBER WHENEVER...i thought i was yoda and i gave you riveting advice, that you ran back and told every single one of your friends (yoda ain't got sh%t on me)...

REMEMBER WHENEVER...i let go, ohh wait i am female...that would be like a dude admitting he needs to stop for directions....

REMEMBER WHENEVER...i wrote 182 cards (183 is tonight)...and i feel so blessed to have known that many people who have touched my life...

REMEMBER WHENEVER...i said it probably is not going to be easy, but FAITH can make it that much easier (well maybe i didn't say quite as good as that)...

REMEMBER WHENEVER...i talked about the cursing ages of technology, yet i am writing this blog on my MAC Computer, staring at my ipad & blackberry...

REMEMBER WHENEVER...i made you laugh (or at least i thought i did)...

REMEMBER WHENEVER...i talked about random sh@t; well what do you think is...random is the only way to go...

REMEMBER WHENEVER...when there was only the sporadic blog, and not an everyday occurrence...aren't you lucky i decided to take on this crazy task...

REMEMBER WHENEVER...i said thank you for reading (well i am saying it now)...

...if a person never tells someone what kind of impact they have had on them how will they ever know...for that moment they touched their life in a way that will not be forgotten and will always be thankful for...

...now come on don't go there...you know me better than that...c'mon, i would never blog about it...(everyone breathe i am so kidding)...

i did, however watch the movie...(the clip is ehh-ok...)

...a story of two people who want to be friends and indulge in extracurricular activities every once in awhile with no strings attached...and its not all about the sex it is the fact that they have formed a relationship with each other where they have fun, laugh, listen, and are completely honest with each other...so naturally they fall for each other...

...i loved it...but know its not reality...they would have ended really hating each other, or messing with each other way more than they already are...and being that they are that good of friends you wouldn't want the physical, non-emotional to be the basis of your friendship anyways...i would love to have a guy friend where together we are completely comfortable around each other and can share anything...but unless there is absolutely no physical attraction there is no way this is possible...what do you think? Dylan (Justin) & Jaimie (Mila) in real life could happen?

an elephant never forgets...neither do women

day 179...

...so the older we get the wiser we get right, well we all would like to think so...

i have become wiser due to recent conversations...which leads me to the this blog post...

this is a very true statement on all ends, i mean I cannot speak for the elephants however, being a part of the female species, i know we never forget...now as you are shaking your head and your boo is saying i know I was right...I want you to think about all the times you have gotten into argument/discussion with anyone, especially your significant other...then fast forward to days/weeks/years later...another argument/discussion...you bet your prada shoes your memory will be primed to recall every detail from every discussion from years prior, i don't even care if it was 20 years before, our brains retain information like it is intelligence for the CIA...

you will start pullin' comments out (even if they don't pertain to the discussion) like, "remember when you said i didn't know what i was talking about." "remember when you said i couldn't cook like your mom." "remember when you left your shoes on the step and i tripped over them and i specifically told you don't put them there & that is why i'm upset, you never listen."

...we, females are shaking our head, thinking, i don't do that..i have never done that, when in the back of your head you just did it yesterday...and your boyfriend is now thinking, this is ohh so familiar...how does she remember all that stuff, when most of the time during our argument I can't even remember why we arguing...

so yes ladies, we have this small indiscretion, but you have to also remember that we also hold on to and remember the good things...like when we are sick and they make us soup, or if for no other reason but just because they bring us flowers or send us a card...or they sit through a play when they would rather be playing with their boys...or when they stare at us and say, "what girl"...

it's just at some moments when we need ammunition we know where to pull out the weapons of mass destruction...& then you better watch out...but, hey we still love you ;)

...well at every turn there is a good mob movie...well at least there should be...and if you haven't seen one; i suggest you get on it...otherwise i will make you an offer you can't refuse ;)...

so of these mob movies...what is it...the ones that make the book (well my book;)...

The Godfather (even though i am not a huge fan of the 3rd, & the 2nd is my favorite, but each one is so worth it)...
