...creating the fairy tale...

“If you ever find yourself in the wrong story, leave.”

...they all begin, 'once upon a time, in a far far land there lived a young princess who dreamed of world peace, labne for every meal, & one day meeting her prince charming and living among all the forest animals in peace and harmony....but alas her evil stepmother who also happened to be a wicked witch cast a spell turning the beautiful princess into a hideous being...now the princess must find a way to let the prince see past her outer looks to find her inner beauty before her evil stepmother destroys the village...of course the prince wants nothing to do with her; until one day he is trapped and the princess comes to his rescue...as she is rescuing him, he sees past her looks and into her beautiful soul; & just as the spell is about to be lifted the evil stepmother steals the princess away & is about to do away with her when the prince comes to the rescue...yadayadayada...the evil stepmother is banished from happy-ville & the princess is turned back and marries the prince & they live happily ever after...'

...for most of us we are not princesses/princes; we are us...going day & day out; hoping and praying that one day our fairy tale will come true...that someone will take notice at the most random moment and the rest will be written...that someone will see past the outer and relish in the inner...that it won't be that hard when everything is right...that the words will come out easy as if you were singing a song...that we will live happily ever after in our own fairy tale...that this idea of love is not just for him or her but it is for you...that the person that completes us will show up & our heart will recognize them and there will be no BS, no games just knowing at that moment that they are it & all the questions, all the worrying, all the nerves, all the scariness disappears & what you are left with is peace...& love & one hell of a story...

...as we are the authors to our own story...the designers of our dreams...& as a friend once told me we must also be the creator of our fairy tale...& i realize that maybe the fairy tale may not be what i once envisioned, that prince charming might be riding a bike instead of a white horse and it may take him a different route to get to me; but eventually he will get there...you just have to be willing to realize that in every fairy tale there can be several adventures and multiple detours...but as long as you are the creator, you can determine where it can go & dream of all the possibilities...

to my fairy tale & yours...God only knows what we will come up with next ;)...
