...i have mentioned it before, CANCER sucks, it knows no boundaries...it knows no color, no race, no sexuality, no religion, no socioeconomic status, it affects us all...the fight has been on going, the fight for someone to wake up & never have to hear those words, "i have cancer.." we pray & dream for the day, when we do hear those words, "THERE IS A CURE..." we all hope that by the grace of God, we will not lose any more mothers, sisters, brothers, grandparents, kids, cousins, fathers, uncles/aunts, friends to this awful disease...that by finding a cure the pain will stop for so many that it has touched...
...i have a passion for this cure...i would give a body part (several) if i knew it would help discover a cure...well amongst the many organizations and people out there that are with me in this fight, that are with me and saying it has got to stop...tonight a newer movement (circa 2008) Stand Up To Cancer broadcasted live to help people to raise money for cancer research...their concept is to use "dream teams" of top researchers, across institutions to come together and collaborate on this fete...people, stars, musicians, SURVIVORS came together tonight to raise money to stop cancer...100% goes to cancer research...
...now i always do my research & so should you...but i feel very strongly this is worth checking out, and after you are done...if you feel that this is where you stand, do it & take a stand...
(**this is the one time i wish a billion & half people read my blog, but those of you that do read, please pass along to another and another, it will become a ripple effect & we can all stand together, so please share...)
