...while watching the movie, "the holiday"..I realize several things...first, being we should adopt some British phrases, 'happy christmas', 'fancy that', 'bollocks', 'bugger off,'...& so many others, just sayin' it just sounds better or it could be the accent...
...moving on, each time I watch this movie I think I fall more in love with it...I love the story lines of the different characters...I love that Cameron Diaz is struggling to find how to love, Jude Law is finding his balance in love, Jack Black just wants to love and have someone love him back, and Kate Winslet is trying to mend her broken heart and discover that someone is willing to chase and fall in love with her...
...but it is also about how love can be the most wonderful thing in the world and at the very same time it can destroy your heart...and when loves come into play it can be messy and not make sense...it can also be where love is what one wants but the other person is in another place or just isn't and that is when it hurts where your breath gets caught in your throat and your heart seems like it is falling out of your chest...so why do we do it, because deep down we are all hoping for the Hollywood ending...
